Plants are truly miraculous, awesome entities, without which life on on Earth wouldn’t be possible. Here are the four main forms of plants in a very basic outline.

Enjoy this special class from the vault! You’ll go on a plant spirit journey and meet an ally.
Some journal prompts for your use:
What plant met me in my journey? What did it share with me?

How can I work with the energies and/or physical expression of this plant?

How can I bring more plants into my daily life?

Flower Essences & Plant Spirit Medicine

Flower Essences are made from living plants (although that isn’t always necessary) and the vibrational signature or code of the plant is stored in water and a preservative of brandy or apple cider vinegar. Flower Essences are an energetic healing modality, meaning that there is no plant matter in formulas, making them safe for everyone with no side effects or contraindications.  In the way that ingesting a plant works on your physical body, the essence of the plant works on your energetic, emotional, and mental levels.

You are energy and everything that has ever happened to you in your life is also stored in your body.  When this energy is flowing smoothly, all your systems, from the subtle and intangible to the physical, flow smoothly and with ease. When this energy is stagnant or blocked, dis-ease on some level sets in, whether its physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual. Introducing my clients to the magic and healing power of Flower Essences is one of my favorite parts of being a Holistic Healer.

This is where Plant Spirit Medicine can come in to assist you in healing.  Flower Essences are a form of Plant Spirit Medicine and are taken internally.  There are many ways to work with the intangible energies of the plant world such as channeling them and sending them to a person in need or simply being in the presence of a living, thriving plant.

Essential Oils

Essential Oils are made from a lot of plant material.  Seriously.  It takes a lot of plant matter to create those tiny bottles of oil you most likely have in your home.  I’ve heard the oils of plants likened to our cerebral spinal fluid and I love that analogy!  The raw, pure, intelligence of the physical plant is captured and stored and these oils tend to be extremely aromatic!  Aromatherapy is a powerful medicine and scent can invoke many different physiological effects from relaxation to excitation and more.  They are made mostly through steam distillation, although there are other ways a home gardener could extract oils from their plants, although it certainly wouldn’t be the same.

Herbal Preparations

Herbal medicine is the co-creation between humans and plants. There are a variety of ways to enjoy the beautiful benefits of herbs!  From sprinkling dried oregano on your spaghetti to enjoying chamomile tea before bed to taking a tincture or herbal tablets or capsules and even herbal suppositories, enemas, or douches.

Herbal medicine is the people’s medicine.

These plants are given to us by our Mother and are here to assist us in thriving.  Roots, leaves, stems, pollens, petals – there is medicine galore!  Consider inquiring with local herbalists to see if anyone is holding foraging walks.  It can feel empowering to know your local plants and awaken your cellular memory as you already innately understand these concepts!  *Please don’t go eating random plants and always work with an expert and/or do your own research!

With so many options to benefit from the plant world, I invite you to eat and use these powerful allies on a daily basis to your nourishment and vitality on all levels.

Whole Foods

Consuming more real, whole, Earth-grown foods keep our bodies super happy. Whether or not that’s what you do exclusively is up to you and the needs of your body, however, I think we can all agree that enjoying our fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grains, and legumes feels oh so good.

Your connection to Nature is your connection to Self

Whether it’s through flower essences, essential oils, herbalism, or any combination of the three, the aim is to come into alignment with Nature and strengthen your connection to the magic, wisdom, and power of our Mother’s gifts.

Hi, I’m Devon.
I’m not here to help you “fix” yourself. (You’re not broken.) I’m here to help you come home to yourself.

I’ve lived the burnout. I was the high functioning, do-it-all, keep-it-together woman who looked fine on the outside and totally lost on the inside.

What saved me was rhythm. Daily, seasonal, soul-deep rhythm — rooted in Nature and in truth.

Now, it’s my deepest honor to guide others in rebuilding their lives from that same foundation.

Drawing on a background in Integrative Health, Ayurveda, holistic coaching, somatic trauma work, energy healing, and flower essence therapy, my approach is gentle, grounded, and deeply supportive.

I help people simplify, reconnect with what matters, and create sustainable rhythms of self-care that support real energy, real joy, and real healing — for life.
